On this website I've put together some information about the sorts of videos I make, and why my clients find them useful. I've been filming, editing and delivering videos for a diverse range of organisations since the beginning of 2008, and before that I cut my teeth in the British film industry, working in Soho, London.

My work generally incorporates two approaches: 'Traditional Filming', that is, filming done by a professional camera operator, and 'Video Diaries', in which members of the public film themselves, usually as part of a market or social research project. Many of my projects involve a mixture of the two processes, and in all cases I provide a full editing service.

Most of the time I make corporate videos, used by my clients for promotion and communication, and ethnographic videos which are used by research agencies to gain an insight into specific groups of people. These videos often form part of the feedback that the agencies give to their clients at the debrief stage as well. I also make documentary videos, again often used within research projects, usually to stimulate discussion at workshops and focus groups. However, projects often straddle these boundaries.

I maintain extremely high standards of quality in my videos and am proud of the repeat business I've received from all of my clients. Being an independent videomaker, I maintain direct, personal contact with all my clients at every stage of their projects. I'm also able to be highly flexible, working whenever (and often wherever) is necessary so that a video meets its deadline. By not being part of a large, overhead-lumbered production house, I'm able to keep my costs at a very reasonable level as well.
